RENT AN ENTIRE CASTLE IN FRANCE

The magnificent Château de Ranton is a small fortified 14th-century castle in the Loire Valley. The main towers and ramparts were built in 1340 at the beginning of the Hundred Years War between England and France. The castle moat contains an underground village built in 700-900AD.

The Château accommodates up to 12 people, antique furniture throughout, massive fireplaces, four-poster bed, extensive gardens. Saumur - riding capital of France and base for French Cavalry is close by. The Château is a perfect spot for exploring the Loire Valley.

The Château de Ranton is 30 kms south of the Loire River in the village of Ranton. It is a 25 minute drive from Saumur, and 45 minutes from Tours. Paris is approximately 3 hours drive away.
